Crossing Over

Moses Pleading with Israel, as in Deuteronomy ...Image via Wikipedia
Winning the Race

One night I had a dream.
I dreamed that I and other women were in a house with many rooms. They were large rooms,
one right after the other.

As I looked down, I could see my self on some sort of a mobile vehicle that allowed me to stear
into the direction that I wanted to go.

I was in a race with the other women. I was racing, room to room, trying to hit the wall and go through it.
I knew that If I hit the right wall, I would enter into a magical kingdom, full of wonders and beauty.
It was if It was like a fairy tale land that I would think about as a kid.

I and the other women were competing to get to the right room, so that one of us would be the first to
enter into the kingdom. We were all racing back and forth frantically to try to find the right room.
We would bump into each other, but going on, because we were racing to see who could get there first.
As I raced back and forth, from room to room, I began to see that I was not finding my magical room.

I got tired of racing, so I gave up.
No one lady ever found the right room in my dream. Not one of us found our way through.

The dream then began on another clip and I was in the same house, but wandering through the rooms and noticing just how huge the rooms were. It was a huge house, but many places in the house were worn down and old.
I could see old cabinets that needed repairing. The paint was old and falling off. As I looked at the wall,
I could see a hole. I thought to myself, well, this would be a good place to live, if it were not so old
and needed so much work done to it.

As I looked at the hole in the wall, I thought to myself, " A person could not live here and
be warm, because the cold would seep into the house". It would need repairing.

My dream ended at that point.
I saw how the house could be a beautiful place to live, if It was repaired and cleaned up.
When I woke up that morning, I began to write my dream down and search In God's Word, for a meaning.

I then read in Mark 9:35

In Chapter 9, it speaks of how Jesus lead Peter,James and John up to the mountain to speak with them.
As Jesus was on the mountain, he was transfigured in front of them and his raiment became shining,
exceding white as snow. Then appeared Elias and Moses and they were talking with Jesus.

And Peter answeredand said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles;
one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Peter did not know what to say and the three disciples were afraid.
Then a cloud overshadowed them and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, this is my beloved son: Hear Him.

And when they looked around, there were no more men and they were there with Jesus by themselves.
As they came down from the mountain, Jesus spoke and told them not to tell of what they had seen
till the Son of Man rises from the dead.
They kept talking among themselves of what the rising of the Son of Man would mean.

As they go on, they come upon a great multitude of people and the scribes were questioning them.
Jesus came to his disciples and when all the people saw him, they ran to him and saluted him.

A man had brought his son who was possessed with an evil spirit. He would tear at hisself and foamed
at the mouth. Often times the evil spirit had cast him into the fire and into the waters to destroy
him.

Jesus said to the father, "if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth".
The father told Jesus that he believed and his son recovered.

When we look further down into the chapter, into verse 33-35, we see that the disciples were still
talking among themselves, so Jesus asked them what they were disputing among themselves.
The disciples held their peace: because they had disputed who of them would be the greatest.

Jesus sat down, and called the twelve disciples to him and said to them; " If any man desire
to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
As I read this, I began to think of how churches try to outdo the other one and they act as if
they are the best church around and no other lights a candle to it.

We as people tend to be this way too.
We act as if we are more holier than the next person and as if we have no sin, but We have all
sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Just when we act as if we are sinless, is when our sins will be found out.
In Romans 2:16, Paul speaks that God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ.

Meaning of secrets: That which is hidden or covered up.

Duet. 11:31...............God commanded Isreal to pass over to Jordon and go in and possess
the land and dwell there.

The Isrealites also had to cross the Red Sea to get to the other side. God was allowing them
to cross over. He was protecting them from the enemy.

This is twice that the Isrealites had to cross over to the other side to get to a land that
God had picked for them, But notice that they all went together. They were not racing each
other, and trying to get there first. They did not have to do this because they were all
united one with another.

We need to be more united and run the race together instead of pushing some of the
people out that we may consider, (not worthy). We are all worthy of God's goodness
if we believe on him, just as the father that believed and his son was healed of an
evil spirit.

If we believe that Jesus is the Son of God and he came into this world to die on the
cross for our sins, then we will be included in the crossing over to the other side.
If we worry about our own hearts and love others and take each other by the hand and
know that we are all worthy to enter into the kingdom, then we will not have to worry
about hitting walls and not going through to the other side.

(We must remember that as long as we follow God's commandments and statutes that we will enter in.)

We need love and compassion on one another and realize that we all sin and no one person
is more worthy to go than the other. This is what Mark 9:35 tells us!

In the second part of the dream, where I saw the old part of the house..............
I think of our bodies and our soul as our house. I think of how we allow ourselves to
become old and worn down. We need repairing. We have holes in our walls that allow
the cold to enter in...It allows satan to seep into the holes that we have in our hearts
that somehow we have caused by sin or by someone sinning against us. Those are
openings that satan can get into and start working on and eventually, If we dont call
out to God to repair us, we just get larger openings and wounds and satan will try to destroy us
after a while.......................We are like that old house that becomes condemed and no longer is able
to serve a purpose because it has to be torn down.

We cannot hold onto the old in our lives, we have to reach out to the new and become a new creature in
Christ..................He makes all things new!
