Dont Be a Victom of Vain Talk

As I was reading in Isaiah, This one verse caught my attention.

In chapter 51:7...........it sais, " Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; Fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be afraid of their revilings.
verse 8:      For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
verse 9:      Awake, awake, put on strenth........

As I looked up the meaning of reproach,   The meaning is.......accusing, shame, disgrace, rebuke.

Revilings meaning:...................abusive language

Have you ever been a victom of abusive language?
Has people looked at you with disgrace and shame?

I have often seen times where people look at others and talk about them when they have no right to say anything.......because we all sin and come short of the Glory of God.
We are not the Judge......The Judge stands before the door, and one day we will all have to face him for the wrong things that we have done in our lives.

But in these verses, God tells us to fear NOT for the things that people say about us.
It is time to break the negative in our lives.
Dont be a victom! Dont allow things that others say, hinder your walk with God. and most of all, dont allow it to get into your spirit, because the things that we think and feed upon will feed upon us!
Dont allow thoughts of shame to come into our lives, because God brings us salvation and Jesus died upon the cross for our sins......( noone else died for your sins, but Jesus). Not the people who talk!

Dont allow rejection to create our paths!

In Proverbs 23, it sais..... So as a man thinks, so is he.

Think Good about ourselves, because God does!

In Isaiah 47:8...... is sais ... Do not think that I AM, AND NO ONE ELSE IS BESIDE ME.
That is thinking that we are all that! We are not to exalt ourselves above anyone else because if we do, we will be punished and evil will come upon us suddenly and it will destroy us.

So these people who talk about others will be punished and we are not to allow this to enter into our spirits to wound us!
Know who you are and who God sais you are!
In God, we are worthy!
