Practice What You Preach

Romans Chapter 2

Verse 1:
Therefore thou art inexusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherin thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Verse 19-29:
And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit adultery?
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonorest thou God?

How many times have we seen others condemn someone in thier sins and turn right around and do the same thing?

It is very important as Christians that we Practice What we Preach.

As it sais in the bible, be slow to speak and quick to hear.
When we speak something to someone, we need to make sure that we are not guilty ourselves..
No one person is perfect and God knows this, but it is not our place to judge one another because in my opinion...........

We are not perfect ourselves and if we judge another for his/her sins and make it known to others.........We might just find ourselves looking in the mirror one day.
There will be times that we may sin too........and would we like that person, who we condemned...........to throw it in our face,.........just as we did to them?

It is very important not to condemn others... This is not the way that we win those people to Christ.
Christ did not walk on this earth...........condemning people........He came to save the World that was LOST!

He showed his love to those who sinned. He helped them to open his/her blinded eyes so that they may see the right way to walk in..

All of those who experienced his love were changed in an instant and they no longer desired to do the things of the world.. They saw just how much he Truly loved them, by not condemning them.............but loving them through there mess and lifting them up with his hands and embracing them.

Do we do this?
NO!! Instead..........We talk about those sinners and we hurt them and we act as if we despise them... We cause them to be hurt and Why would they want to be a Christian when they see how we act?

Sinners dont need what Christians have when we can't act like we are suppose to....

What are True Christians?

Those who Obey God's Law and abide by it and show TRUE love toward others and we let our light shine as Christ did and others can see the love of God in us, because we show his love and our love

We do not condemn those who are sinners..........but we love them through his/her mess and we keep loving them until they see that God's way is the right way and the right direction!

We don't go around hurting those who are vulnerable and weak. We lift them up as Jesus did. We give them a hand! We help them, we clothe and feed them.

I have seen some sinners who act better than christians do...
And have heard many people say........."why would I go to church when Im only going to be talked about and condemned?"

Do We do this? Does your Church do this?
We are going about it all wrong...

Love is the answer and Renewing our Hearts is the key!
