Trust in the Lord with all thine heart

In Psalms 118:8-9...........

It sais " It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."
verse 9.... It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

How many times has man let you down?
A Person at times cannot depend on man. Sometimes they only hurt us more and they do not think of our needs, only their own.


In Psalms 108:12, it sais " Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man."
verse 13, sais " Through God we shall do valiantly: for he is that shall tread down our enemies."

valiantly means to be brave and courageous.
With God we can be brave and we can have courage to overcome obstacles in our lives because he is there for us to fight our enemies.
We do not need to be afraid. It sais There is nothing to fear, but fear itself..
God tells us to fear not because he has it all under control.

God is bigger than any problem we have and sometimes when men do not come through, That is when we need to pick up the pieces and give it to God and let him do what he does best and that is take care of us.
Think of how the Isrealites were led into the desert by Moses with nothing to eat.... But what happened?

God fed them with manna from Heaven. Every morning when they got up, they began to gather the manna for there families for the day. He fed them Quail too.
He gave them water to drink when they were thirsty, by allowing Moses to smite a Rock and Water came forth..
Also, God protected them when they had no way of protecting themselves.
He shielded them from the enemy by blocking their vision with fire and a cloud.
He also allowed Moses to part the Red sea and they crossed over to the other side and when the enemy was right behind them,..... They were swallowed up by the sea and they drowned! God killed the enemies before they had a chance to hurt them!

If he would do that for Moses and the Isrealites, then why are we any different?
We are all the same in Gods eyes and he is no respector of persons, that means that he does not care more for one person that he does the next person.

How many times do humans go with favortism?
Ive seen it many times and it is not right, but with God, it is not that way because he loves us all the same.

So dont get discouraged by things that Life throws your way, because God is our deliverer in the time of trouble and he will lead us through to our promise.
We just have to obey and believe his truth!
